Epcot - Spaceship Earth

Eleven years after the Magic Kingdom® Theme Park’s opening, Walt Disney World’s second theme park Epcot® made its debut on October 1, 1982. The park’s Fountain of Nation was filled with water from 25 bodies of water from around the world, representing 29 nations. Near the Epcot entrance stands an 18-story tall geodesic sphere which serves as the park’s icon, Spaceship Earth, as well as, an attraction of the same name. Epcot is separated into two lands: Future World and World Showcase.

Pick a pearl from an oyster in Japan. Listen to the Mariachi Cobre in Mexico. Meet Anna and Elsa in Norway.


Epcot is the place to be for anyone looking for a spectacular food experience at Walt Disney World® Resort. Visit The Coral Reef Restaurant where you can view a massive aquarium filled with over 4,000 sea creatures. Feast with Chip, Dale, and friends at The Garden Grill, a slowly rotating restaurant located in The Land.

Eat your way around the world as you dine at the World Showcase pavilions. Snack on a delicious churro in Mexico. Share a pizza created with water imported from Italy at Via Napoli.
