Disney’s Hollywood Studios®

Walt Disney World® Resort’s third theme park, which featured actual film and animation studios, opened in 1989 as Disney-MGM Studios. Numerous Disney productions, including the animated film Lilo & Stitch, were created in the theme park. In 2008, the park’s name was changed to Disney’s Hollywood Studios®. Though films are no longer produced at Walt Disney World, the park is still heavily influenced by show business. At Disney’s Hollywood Studios, you can stroll down Sunset Boulevard in the Golden Age of Hollywood, ride in a super-stretch limo on your way to hang out with rock stars, or save the galaxy from enemy forces.
